Post-Covid 19 Impact on Mental Health
Why do I still feel anxious?
The impact of COVID-19 continues to echo through classrooms, workplaces and homes. Many young people and adults still experience anxiety, low motivation and difficulty reconnecting — both academically and emotionally. According to the World Health Organization, global anxiety and depression rose by 25% following the pandemic, and studies show lasting effects on learning, focus and confidence.
This is where I can help. Through a blend of mentoring, coaching and bespoke tuition, I support individuals to rebuild confidence, change unhelpful thinking patterns and develop lasting, effective learning and life habits. My sessions create a calm, non-judgmental space to pause, reflect and rediscover motivation. Together, we work on mindset, organisation and practical strategies to overcome anxiety and self-doubt — replacing fear of failure with curiosity, self-belief and purpose.

With over twenty years’ experience in education and BACP-accredited counselling training, I bring a unique combination of teaching expertise, mentoring insight and therapeutic understanding. This holistic approach supports both academic progress and emotional wellbeing — helping students, adults, teachers and parents to feel more grounded, confident and capable.
Whether you or your child are struggling to focus, feeling anxious before exams, or simply need a mindset refresh, I’ll help you move from overwhelm to clarity and confidence. Small, consistent shifts in thinking can create powerful and lasting change. Together, we’ll build the tools, self-belief and habits needed to thrive — in learning, work and life.
